NOW YOU’RE IN THE BIG MOUNTAINS
A small commercial flight from Vancouver Airport will transport you to the northern part of the Coast Mountains to begin your heli-skiing adventure in the Pantheon Range. This flight will help you wrap your head around how expansive the Coast Range truly is. This area is known for its truly spectacular alpine terrain surrounded by immense mountains and solidarity. Skiing around the tallest mountain in British Columbia is a truly unique experience. The three lodges in the Pantheon are each slightly different in layout and group size, but provide an incredible way to heli-ski in the Pantheon Range.
Terrain:
The Pantheon Range encompasses 1.24 million acres of Bella Coola Heli Sports 2.64 million acres of terrain. The Pantheon Range is a majestic mountain range in the Coast Mountains. This is where Mount Waddington, the tallest mountain in British Columbia, is located. This area is incredibly difficult to access without a helicopter. The variety of alpine terrain is seemly endless from big open bowls to large glaciated ski runs with the Mount Waddington as a backdrop. Though this area is known for its incredible alpine terrain there is also some tree skiing when the weather doesn’t cooperate. Each of the different lodges in the Pantheon Range provides access to a different area of the tenure where there is plenty of exploring left to be done!
Group Size:
Each of the Pantheon Lodges only has one group per helicopter, but the group size varies depending on the lodge:
Pantheon Heli Ranch: 9 guests / 2 guides / 1 helicopter
Mystery Mountain Lodge: 4-5 guests / 2 guides / 1 helicopter
Terra Nostra Lodge: 8 guests / 2 guides / 1 helicopter
