Terrain

Tordrillo Mountain Lodge has access to 1.2 million acres of skiable terrain. This provides endless amounts of terrain options for a variety of different types of skiers and boarders. Whether you are looking for wide open alpine bowls or steep couloirs Tordrillo Mountain Lodge will find the terrain that best fits your skiing ability. The Tordrillo Mountain Range is known for consistent snowfall (600 inches per year) and generally stable weather which allow for great heli skiing conditions. The panorama views of the Alaskan Range including Denali (The highest peak in North America) makes the heli skiing and boarding even more spectacular. With runs averaging 3,000 ft your legs will be burning by the end of the day!

Group Configuration

Tordrillo Mountain Lodge uses A-Star helicopters, which are known for their power and speed. Making it the perfect helicopter for heli skiing. These helicopters hold 4 guests and 1 guide. There is a maximum of 3 groups at one time. The small groups allow for better movement through the mountains as well as maximizing your skiing time!

The main lodge combines the rustic architecture of a traditional Alaskan lodge with modern, luxurious amenities. The lodge and cabins accommodate up to twelve guests, with all guest rooms featuring newly renovated bathrooms as of 2017. The lodge includes three common spaces offering spectacular views of the surrounding mountains. After an exhilarating day on the slopes, guests can relax in their comfortable rooms, enjoy a professional massage, or unwind in the outdoor hot tub. Additionally, there is a yoga building with an exercise room and a sauna.

Tordrillo Mountain Lodge offers gourmet meals, sourcing local seafood and produce whenever possible. Hosting up to eight guests per week in comfortable guest rooms, the lodge’s modern design includes floor-to-ceiling windows in the common room, providing spectacular views of the surrounding mountains. This private lodge also features a personal chef who prepares gourmet meals with fresh ingredients, a fully stocked bar, and a large selection of fine wines.

Unwind after a day of heli-skiing in the outdoor wood-fired hot tub or with a professional massage. Judd Lake Lodge provides an exclusive heli-skiing program with an A-Star helicopter separate from the main lodge, offering a semi-private experience.
