Culinary Experience

Food is a highlight at Chalet Pelerin. Start your day with a hearty breakfast featuring local yogurt, muesli, house-made bread, and farm-fresh eggs, providing energy for morning ski runs. Even in the backcountry, guests can enjoy bubbly at lunch alongside fine French cheeses. In the evening, Chef Hannah's menus showcase Savoyarde dishes like pumpkin velouté with Beaufort cheese and croutons, along with fondue. French wines are also prominently featured, with nightly menu pairings.

Great food and wine are integral to French culture. Breakfast at Chalet Pelerin is a small feast, including fine French cheeses and farm-fresh eggs and yogurt delivered each morning by a neighboring farmer. Close to the Italian border, guests can enjoy espresso and pasta for lunch in Italy one day, and bubbly with polenta and diots in France the next. Dinner features Savoyarde dishes prepared by Chef Hannah, paired with French wines by our in-house sommelier.
